Amazing to see so many animals in one place and lovely to see the care shown. Be warned this place is hidden in a warren of streets that fortunately for us our guide navigated with no problem. Perhaps a little off the usual tourist track for sights but very much worth a visit

Magen David Synagogue

Right on the busy JJ Road, opposite JJ hospital, I never imagined what this old building contain. Accompanied by a Jew friend from out-of-town, made me realise that this almost 150 year old building has fully functional beautiful synagogue. The interiors are simply artistic. The trust has been offering accommodation and meals to Jew visitors free, or with small nominal donation. Great place indeed.
