The morning and evening Pooja and Aarti rituals are a sight to be watched. That melodious prayers and hymns are very soothing to the heart and mind. You will involuntarily pray here.
You can also see many seers, Sansyasi's who are dedicated to the Ramakrishna Math and mission activities.
There is a charity hospital nearby, a well stocked public library and Sharada Mata Temple. Also a public hall where the seers of the Math give sermons, spiritual talks and hold discussions.
