The Doddanekundi Lake is one of the bigger lakes in Bangalore, but is not well-known nor is it in good shape. Frequented primarily by those living nearby, it's not easy to reach. The lake is covered by weeds in many parts. There is a walking path around it and an island inside, but there is a stink around the entrance, which is a turn-off. If the lake is improved greatly similar to the Mahadevapura one nearby, it could be considered a place to visit, but as of now, one can easily skip it.
