MVJIS opened its doors for the first time, to a group of 18 students.

MVJIS flourished over the years and increased its strength to a whopping number 300

MVJIS, being consistent in its journey, progressed in shaping the students to responsible individuals/ citizens after finishing school to face the challenges of society and cope with all hassles of life.

The visionary was Dr. M V Jayaraman - a scholar, a musician and above all, an educationist par excellence. The seed sowed in 1970 transformed into an educational revolution. The act of setting up Venkatesha Education Society, re-wrote the destinies of lakhs of aspiring students for life.
