The Pagoda showcases four golden statues of Lord Buddha carved out on the wall. It stands as a sacred symbol of spirituality, brotherhood and peace. Point-to-point dedicated taxi rides start at Rs. 150 for even short distances. The most economical way is to board a shared taxi that charges Rs. 10 for short distance rides and Rs. 20 for longer distances. During the season, these shared taxis also operate for few select local sightseeing tours like 3-point tour in Darjeeling and few other local tours.
