Electronic city has two phases. Phase 1 which is the older one which is home to many of the initial IT companies such as HCL, Infosys, wipro etc., who moved there in the beginning, Later to accommodate the growing number of IT companies phase 2 was created which now has many IT companies which have a division in both as well as of the companies that are located in phase 2 alone.
There are paying guests in Phase 1 and 2. The paying guest rents are much lower in phase 2 compared to phase 1. Phase 1 is home to many of the well known paying guests such as uniworld, and a whole line of paying guests located around the nilgiris area or near wipro gate.
There are also paying guests located near Shikari palya, hosa road, kudlu gate, ecity phase 2, hebbagodi etc., which are home to many boys, girls, working men and women.
